Technifex completed a project for Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. As part of a fundraising drive for the new International Center for Possibility Thinking, the Church inscribed glass bricks with the names of the donors.
The structural engineers at Entertainment Engineering were asked to find a company that could build a curved 35’x35’ wall with the 23,000 bricks that would take advantage of the natural beauty of the clear glass, yet be structurally sound. Technifex provided mock-up services during the engineering process, as well as handled the final construction of the structural framework that holds the 23,000 glass bricks in place.
