Celebrating 35 Years! Meet Todd Gallagher. As a Sr. Project Manager at Technifex, Todd is instrumental in the management of several of Technifex’ major theme park projects, leading teams in the creation of large scale, location-based entertainment venues globally, most notably in Asia. Todd first joined Technifex in the 90’s where he served as a Project Manager overseeing Technifex’s design and production of the Dark Castle attraction at Nasu Highlands theme Park in Japan, as well as other water and mechanical effects projects. Todd again returned to Technifex some twenty years later. In between, Todd provided senior level project management services on a multitude of major location-based entertainment projects in the heart of Asia and around the world. He also worked with The Miziker Entertainment Group as Project Director, and was CEO of Themetech, providing leadership and oversight of creative design, show systems technologies, mechanical design/engineering, and fabrication. During his tenure at Themetech he finalized production and delivery of key show components at Shanghai Disney. Other notable projects include Wuhan Movie Theme Park, the 2010 Shanghai Expo opening ceremonies live action water, projection lighting and special effects show; show systems designs for Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley, and project management of concept design on the Robotland theme park in Inchon S. Korea, to name a few. Todd started his themed entertainment career in the early 1980’s at Walt Disney Imagineering where he spent two and a half years as a special effects prototype designer developing special effects for several of the EPCOT pavilions located in Orlando, FL. A few of Todd’s favorite projects are Disney’s Epcot Center, Sanrio’s Harmony Land, Nasu Highlands Dark Castle, 2010 Shanghai Expo, and Paul Allen’s Music Experience.
